Construction Camera Featured Project: Winnetka Campus East Side Academic & Athletic Project

The Winnetka Campus ESAA project — an education construction project in Winnetka, Illinois — used our newest and most powerful 4K construction camera, the iBEAM Fixed 4K Premier, to monitor and document progress at the job site.

Project Background

Located in Winnetka, Illinois, the Winnetka Campus ESAA project saw the renovation and replacement of aging buildings with new athletic and academic spaces.

The $79.5 million project replaced the 1928 Gates Gymnasium and the 1925 Boiler Plant with a new multipurpose facility featuring:

• new academic spaces
• new auxiliary gyms
• an indoor track
• new weight and strength conditioning facilities
• a new climbing wall and high ropes course
• improved security
• improved energy efficiency

Needs

As an education construction project, New Trier High School wanted to utilize a construction camera that would allow them real-time access to timely updates from the job site, as well as the ability to share regular photo and time-lapse movie updates from the project with the community (since a part of the project was funded via alternative revenue bonds).

The Solution
