Facility Builders & Erectors, Inc., delivers industrial and community-based construction services, with a particular focus on steel buildings. Project Background

The Aemerge RedPak project is an $8 million medical waste treatment and disposal facility in Hesperia, California, that utilizes the latest in automated technology to treat bio-hazardous waste. The facility converts high-volume, low-density, infectious medical waste into high-density, sanitized char which can be readily landfilled. The treated metals and glass are recycled and the site achieves up to 95% landfill diversion.

The project included site work, extensive foundations, a 4-story structural steel infeed structure, installation of processing equipment including a 103' long carbonizer, thermal oxidizer, DSI silo, and a 5-story pulse jet fabric filter.

Needs
